Maximizing your self expression also means letting your fun side out to play. Our thriving campus and energetic student body always has something planned — an international food festival, being inspired by Maya Angelou, Monte Carlo night or a hands-on seminar with a top speaker in your major. We support more than 60 clubs that bring students together.
Even the start of each quarter is cause for celebration with First Tuesdays gathering of old and new students, faculty and administrators with music, food, camaraderie and free, specially-designed T-shirts just to set the tone for the next 11 weeks of learning and growing.
A winning basketball team, a championship rugby team and the new cycling club are some of the sports activities which provide energetic opportunities for students to display school pride. Students enjoy a campus replete with a Wellness Center which offers a vast array of weekly classes and extensive equipment. Free chiropractic care, nutrition counseling, life coaching and health and fitness evaluations from student colleagues support our institutional commitment to health and fitness.

Honor code. Life recognizes five essential components to integrity on campus and expects faculty members, staff and students to embrace these concepts and to live them on a daily basis, on and off campus:
Responsibility. Along with the rights of being a member of the Life academic community comes the principle of responsibility. Every member of the Life community is charged with accountability for upholding the institution's core values and expectations. Every member of the Life community is expected to exemplify the University's standards and practices.
Respect. At the core of the Life community lies a deep regard for other human beings. Faculty members show respect by valuing students' goals and ideas, by engaging students and each other with intellectual rigor and discipline, providing honest feedback on studentsÂ’ and peers' work with a view to improvement, and by treating every member of the Life community as a valued individual.
Honesty. Honesty is the cornerstone of the academic enterprise. At Life, our educational focus is on the core proficiencies. Intellectual and personal honesty is the hallmark of Life UniversityÂ’s endeavors to advance truth, and to explore deeper understanding of human health and behavior. In creating the next generation of graduates to initiate needed change in society, Life recognizes the centrality of both honesty and candor.
Trust. Life University's policies and practices are based upon a fundamental recognition among its members that at the core of each and every human being is an innate intelligence that shares common origin. This understanding provides the foundation for a fundamental expectation of positive and supportive behavior from other members of the Life community.
Fairness. Life University provides fair evaluation processes for all members of the Life Community. It is an important value at Life to have processes spelled out clearly and administered equitably across the organization.

Its close proximity to the nation's third-largest city dictates that there is something for anyone, from organic cooking to NASCAR, the nationÂ’s third-largest city has a place for you that will feel just right. Whether you call it Hotlanta, the ATL, or the gateway to the SouthÂ…it's a great place to be.

Student Success Center. Individuals exercise their minds freely and openly here in an intellectual haven for learning and exploring. But we won't leave you out there alone. Your faculty and our Student Success Center will support you with academic assistance, counseling, academic advising and disability services.

								Location
Situated just outside of Atlanta and nestled in the foothills of the Blue Ridge Mountains, Life University's beautiful 90-acre campus is located in Marietta, Georgia. It was on the present site of Life University that most of the paper used by the South for banknotes, bonds and currency during the Civil War was produced.

								Campus Facilities & Equipment
Located on 90 beautiful acres, Life University is one of the most well-equipped chiropractic institutions in the country.
Recently completed facilities include the new student housing, parking and child development institute complex, the new student cafe and recently re-designed additional campus green space. All are designed to accommodate the busy student's lifestyle as they pursue their education. The library boasts an array of collections, wireless internet access and on-line resources. Computer labs are also available for student use.

Personal fitness really comes together in our on-campus Wellness Center where students can work out with strength training and aerobic equipment and participate in a vast array of classes. Students can choose from personal training or select from classes in Pilates, spinning, aerobics, weightlifting, martial arts, salsa, yoga, boot camp, cardio burn and interval work outs to help achieve personal work-out goals.

Life University is one of the first 100 college and university presidents to sign on in support of the American College and University Presidents Climate Commitment.

								Off-Campus Opportunities
Opportunities abound in this lively city to connect with professional mentors, land internships, network with students and access Atlanta's libraries, science museums and historical attractions. In Atlanta and its bustling suburbs, you can find excellent career opportunities as CNN, Coca Cola, Home Depot, Delta and Georgia-Pacific are all headquartered in Atlanta.

With the multitude of activities including pro or college sports, art, dance, theater, music, museums, hiking trails, restaurants or shopping, festivals, concerts, 5K runs, book signings and weather to die for, Atlanta is really about all you can do, see, hear, feel, watch and experience here.
For those who bring their family along, the choices of public and private schools close to Life, right in Cobb County, are also superb.
