Description

“Business, Society and Sustainable Development” is an introductory course on the relationship between businesses and its goals, and the broader local and global society in which firms operate. The framework of sustainable development will be presented as the orienting mechanism. The course will address conceptual issues, as well as specific thematic areas of priority global interest. The goal of the course is to introduce future managers and entrepreneurs to a number of critical issues they will face in aligning their companies’ goals with those of their society.
