Career Experience
I am both a licensed Attorney and a licensed Certified Public Accountant. I have worked in a variety of positions involving taxation, including for approximately the last 10 years as rea tax auditor. This work enabled me to gain extensive experience analyzing the accounting records and auditing the Federal tax returns of high income individuals, partnerships, C corporations and S corporations. I have tutored students while an undergraduate student and while serving as an On the Job Instructor and Mentor in my professional jobs. I also taught Continuing Professional Education programs at the law firms that I worked at while a practicing attorney.
I Love Tutoring Because
I love seeing people get excited about learning and succeeding. I believe in practical teaching - tying lessons to how the material is likely to be asked in a future exam question or homework assignment. Moreover, if the subject allows, I like to tie the material to something the student can relate to in their ordinary life.
